3 WEEKS FROM TODAY!

I made an appointment for a 3/4D ultrasound on February 3rd to find out the sex of little Wally. So....we will be calling it a "he" or "she" in exactly 3 weeks. And if it's a boy, he will already have a name. William "Court" Maehlman. We are still working on the girl name. I am so excited that I am not sure I can wait that long. Guess I have to since Feb. 3rd will already be 4 weeks earlier than what we would normally find out. That's all. Just had to share some of my excitement.

Basketball update -- we played Mt. Zion last night and lost. Boy was it a crappy game. Boys played horrible and made stupid mistakes and the refs didn't help. We play at Ola tonight which should make for another interesting, down to the wire game! I did learn last night that stress is not good for baby. My stomach was cramping at the end of the game from being tense the last 30 minutes. Need to figure out a way to not get so worked up......

Wally's 1st Picture

Here is "Wally's" 1st picture. I was 6 weeks and 2 days at this ultrasound.

A New Year....A New Member of the Family!

That's right...we are having a baby! We found out at the beginning of November that we were expecting and now that I am past the first trimester, we are excited to share the news with everyone. Our little bundle of joy, or Wally as Dan has named it, will arrive sometime in July. Our actual due date is July 17th.

We are both so eager to find out the sex that we are contemplating having a 3D ultrasound at 17 weeks. My bet...it's a girl! I don't really have any special feelings that it's a girl, but we both want a boy so bad that I just know God is going to bless us with a beautiful little princess.

I'll keep you guys updated as much as I can on basketball and the pregnancy. We had our 12 week appointment yesterday and were able to hear the heartbeat for the first time. It was a strong 152 and a wonderful experience. Doc said everything looks great so we are good for another 4 weeks.

I'll try to post one of the first pictures of "Wally" when I get home tonight. It's just a little peanut but I absolutely LOVE looking at it.
